Called A Sewer Repair Company To Pump Septic Tank

I've lived in my home about 5 years and never had any problems with the septic tank, but I've never had it pumped either. A few weeks ago our sewage backed up into our house and we had to call a sewer repair Austin place to fix our problem.

Our problem turned out to be the septic tank, but not because it needed replaced or anything. It was never pumped and got full and overflowed. There was so much clean up that had to be done inside of my home. It cost way more than it would have to just have the septic system pumped. I will be sure I don't let this happen again.

I was told by the septic company that I should have this done every few years just to stay safe and make sure it doesn't backup again. I am going to make sure that I remember to do this. I never want to have to clean that stuff up again. Plus it ruined a bunch of things that couldn't be replaced because they were sentimental. I was pretty upset with the whole thing, but now I know how to prevent it.
